Product Templates
We have created some helpful templates for you to build design your printed items off of. Remember that all images used should be at least 300 dpi and in CMYK or Grayscale color mode. All images placed in Illustrator or InDesign should be either EPS or TIFF files. GreenPostcards.com will not be held responsible if a JPEG, GIF, PNG, etc do not print correctly.
All files will be Pre-flighted to ensure they contain the right specifications for printing. If a submitted file is not suitable for printing we will ask you to resubmit your file or we can give you a price quote for adjusting your file so that it can print properly.
If an InDesign, Illustrator, or Quark file is submitted for printing it will require a PDF to be signed off on before it goes to print. When submitting these files be sure to include all links and fonts used in the file. If there are any missing links or fonts it will result in a delay in the proofing process.

All jobs require proof approval before we can process an order (even if a PDF is the file uploaded to the site).
Three Proofing Levels:
The standard PDF "soft" proof
There is a $10 charge for this proof. It includes opening the file, checking for correct bleeds, accurate resolution, correct sizing, and outputting a PDF for you to approve. It does not include any file manipulation or proofreading. If your file is not press ready you will be asked to submit a new file, or you can request a quote from us to fix your file so that it will be press ready. In some rare cases, fixing the file is not possible. One thing to note is that every computer monitor is different and will reproduce color differently than once it is actually on press. If you need a more color accurate proof we recommend having a Matchprint proof printed.
Matchprint proof
This is a $50 proof output on our Epson Stylus 9800 that will accurately display (within 90% of printed product) what your product will look like when it is printed. The proof is printed on Kodak approved proofing sheets not on the actual stock that will be used to print. This proof will be mailed to you via USPS First Class Mail. This proof includes opening the file, checking for correct bleeds, accurate resolution, correct sizing, and outputting a hard copy for you to sign off on. It does not include any file manipulation or proofreading. If your file is not press ready you will be asked to submit a new file, or you can request a quote from us to fix your file so that it will be press ready.
The Next Day Matchprint proof
This proof includes the same features as the Matchprint, but this one is guaranteed the next day if your files are submitted and paid for by 1pm Monday through Friday.
